I had my third of four food porn classes Sunday at Kitchen in the Market. Despite having a killer migraine, I muddled through. But I will say, my head was affecting my inspiration. Luckily, I was able to get some good action shots and left very full. Good food, good people, good fun.
For this third class, we tried our hand at food styling with a Spanish-themed menu.
This month’s treats consisted of:
· sangria
· croquettes
· roasted vegetables with Romesco
· paella
· almond olive oil cakes w/ brown butter frosting
SANGRIA
CROQUETTES
PAELLA
OLIVE OIL/ALMOND CAKES
MISC.
FINAL MEAL
I'm still playing with the settings on my Nikon - obviously having trouble with the lighting settings as some of the photos are a little dark. I have to say, I'm liking my point-and-shoot better for close-up photos.
I'm looking forward to the next class in April. Now, off to my backlog of blog posts and recipes. Lots of fun stuff coming soon!
Cheers!
